The Morrell Wedding

By

A friend of mine told me recently that it seems like Noah and I are always going to weddings.

I was extremely pleased with this read—and I would like to encourage anyone out there who may stumble across this post to invite us to more weddings. Weddings are the best! So many of my favorite things have to do with new beginnings, appreciating and savoring love, and gathering family and friends close. Weddings combine all three in one *chef’s kiss*

…however, they do have the unfortunate side effect of convincing me that I need a new dress to wear for each wedding I attend. This is, of course, quite problematic for my wallet. As soon as I figure out how to bypass this unfortunate personality flaw, watch out: I might just crash your reception.

This week’s wedding was for Noah’s last mission companion he served with in Australia, Britton Morrell.

Morrell Wedding 2025

Britton was in our wedding two years ago, and it was fun to see these two together again to celebrate Britton’s love.

I fully expected to be meeting new people and making small talk all day, but realized early on that Britton’s family knows my mom’s family from their time in Lewiston. People learned my name more quickly than I imagined was possible so they could call me over to reminisce at will. It was lovely!

I may be biased, but I happen to think August weddings are superior to all the rest. We certainly had a blast at this one.

Did someone say forever wedding date??
The newlyweds :))

Cheers to the Morells!!

Also, cheers to Cambrie—literally did not tell her that we were in town until we were like 20 minutes away from each other (typical). Thankfully, she was unfazed by my fly-by-night planning. While Noah and I were hanging out in Utah the day before Britton’s wedding, she took me out to float the Provo River, which I’ve always wanted to do! I hope I know this girl for forever.
